Well, it’s a story that began hundreds of years ago. Norwegiens and Scandinaviens would kill whales for there blubber. Since the invention of candle wax, why would they need to slaughter these animals? Is it for fun? Is it for food? Or are they just a bunch of people saying that it is there heritage to kill whales?
I live in Australia, and the native people of this country (Aboriginals) used to put a spear into someones leg when they broke the law, years and years ago. It doesn’t happen anymore. They have changed there atitudes to better themselves. Why can’t other countries that slaughter thousands of these animals be able to say that killing whales and dolphins is there heritage? It is noncence. THIS IS 2007, NOT 200BC!

I agree with both mackenie and victoria IT IS NOT FAIR FOR THE POOR WHALES I CAN NOT BELIVE THEY WOULD DO SOMTHING LIKE THAT TO GET MONEY THEY SHOULD BE SENT TO JAIL FOR DOING THAT!!!!!

i agree with victoria. what if this does mess with our food chain? i believe that the Japanese should put themselves in the dolphins place. Would the japanese want to be killed off by something else?Also the fact that they are doing these things for money.

it is sad that these hunters are killing the wales just for money.this is serious why should poor inisent whales have to die. it is like we are back in the day when the white people used to skalp indians just for the sport and just for the money.how you some one pick out all your family members incluing,pets babys and stated killing your family just for money you would want to haunt the people who did dthis to you wouldn’t you. so the people in japan is practicly saying they would not care if this speces died that could mess up the whole food chain for this area.STOP THE KILLING OF THE WALES
